Why clinics need Meta verification

The WhatsApp business account is opened in the clinic's name and the clinic owns it; MedoraLab connects to that account with the clinic's permission. Your current number does not change, the WhatsApp Business app on your phone stays, your past conversations remain. If you leave, the number and the account stay with you.

Meta wants to see that the business is real: a legal name, an address, a website and an official document. A verified business gets its display name approved, its messaging limits opened and its templates reviewed. Without verification the account works within narrow limits.

This step is done for the clinic's own business; MedoraLab's own verification is separate and asks nothing of the clinic.

A tax registration document or its equivalent, the legal name and address on it, the clinic's website and phone. In the connection step the panel opens Meta's own window; the clinic chooses the account there and grants permission. No password is given to MedoraLab.

For Instagram a business or creator account is enough; no Facebook page is required. The panel opens the Instagram login itself.

If the patient has not written for 24 hours, only a template approved by Meta can be sent on WhatsApp: an appointment reminder, a confirmation, a reschedule. The template text carries no treatment name; the personal details are only the name, the date, the time and the clinic's name. Meta reviews and stores the text.

Until approval arrives, no reminder past the 24 hours is sent; the panel says "awaiting template approval" on the appointment card. The review time is Meta's and it varies; we give no number.

The display name stays unapproved, reminder templates cannot be sent and the messaging limit stays low. Replying is still possible; growing is not. For a clinic with its documents ready, verification is one step of the setup, not a separate project.
